Visit of Saint-Petersburg will be incomplete without tour to at least one of the famous summer imperial residences - Pushkin, Pavlovsk or Peterhof.

Catherine's Palace in Pushkin (Tsarskoye Selo) was constructed in the middle of the 18th century by Rastrelli, the most talented Russian architect of baroque style.

Bright blue and white colours of the facade, its golden domes and sculptures create the first impression of the palace. When the visitors enter the palace they get even more impressed by glittering of numerous mirrors, bright lights of big chandeliers, guild molding and varied decoration.

One of the most beautiful rooms of the palace is the Mirror Hall which strikes by its dimensions and richness of baroque decoration. Large mirrors places between windows on both sides of the room enlarge it, creating the impression of endless, continuous space.

You will see the famous Amber room which was stolen by the Nazi during the Second World War and was restored by Saint-Petersburg artists.
