The hotel is situated in the former palace of the 18th century. Among the owners of the palace were chief of the police of Saint-Petersburg Chicherin, diplomat Prince Kurakin, a famous merchant Elisseev. He preferred the one overlooking the Moika embankment and rebuilt it according to his tastes. 7 rooms of the palace are restored and carefully preserved; now they are used for special events, seminars and conferences.
